- General Information
We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards except American Express and Diners Club.
EFT is accepted only for deposits.
No drinking the night before or before your tattoo appointment.
This makes your blood thinner and makes it more difficult for your artist to work and for the ink to stay in. It also makes it hurt more.
Also avoid medications that may thin your blood unless you have a medical condition.
If you have a condition such as asthma, low blood sugar or severe allergies, please bring anything you might need with you.
Eat a good meal before you come in. Getting a tattoo, especially long sessions takes energy. Getting tattooed on an empty stomach can cause dizziness, nausea, fainting or make it more uncomfortable than normal. If you’re sitting for a full day session you’ll need to take a break to eat.
If your tattoo needs a touch up we offer the first touch up for free. You have 3 months after your tattoo for your touch up.
You will need to wait at least a month to do a touch up to allow it to heal enough.
If we can see that the touch up is needed as a result of poor after-care, picking scabs, sun damage or soaking, you will need to pay for your touch up.
We also exclude free touch ups on tattoos on hands and feet. These are areas notorious for not holding ink.
We have vouchers for tattoos and piercing available in studio.
Vouchers can only be used for bookings, not for walk-ins. (Except for piercing vouchers which can be used for walk-ins)
They are valid for the value of the voucher and no part of the voucher will be credited.
Vouchers are valid for 90 days from date of purchase.
48 hour cancellation applies. If the appointment is missed without 48hr notice – the voucher is void.
No refunds, exchanges or cash backs.
Voucher must be presented on the day to be validated.
If you don’t use it – you lose it.
All voucher rights are at the discretion of Canvas Cultique.
A non-refundable deposit is required to commence design and to secure your deposit.
The deposit will be deducted off the final cost of your tattoo.
The design sent to you is not an accurate representation of the final product, it is usually a line drawing or referenced composition to create a rough idea of what the tattoo will look like.
If you fail to cancel or reschedule your appointment within a 48 hour period, you regretfully forfeit your deposit.
Non-refundable means – if you decide you do not want the tattoo any more – the cost of the deposit will cover the time the artist spent on your design. This term also applies when you change your mind about the whole concept and your artist has to draw up a completely new design.
No children under the age of 12 are allowed in the establishment – this is for their own safety.
Only one friend is allowed to accompany the client at any given time. The artist needs to focus and give the client their best work.
All original design work remains the property of the artist, both prior to and post execution, and as such no permission is given to reproduce or publicly post said artwork on any platform whatsoever. The tattoo, however, is yours to show off as you like.
